Treatment

At the beginning of your first treatment I will take you through a full consultation which will include your medical history and lifestyle. This information will be kept strictly confidential. Using this information and your requirements we will discuss the most suitable course of treatment for you.

Massage is generally considered to be a safe treatment. However if you have any medical conditions it is advisable to notify me before your appointment and if necessary consult your GP to ensure that you can go ahead with the treatment. Please see below for a list of treatment contraindications.

After the treatment, the massage and its effects will be discussed. After care advice will be offered, which for sports treatments may include forms of stretching, strengthening and activities that should be discouraged or encouraged.
